Day #2
It's all about the music and Christmas performances. We started off the season last Saturday night attending The Messiah at Abravanel Hall in SLC. This weekend it will be Celebration of Christmas performed by the BYU choruses and orchestra. We're off to a really good start.
Here is a beautiful version of Rick's favorite passage. The soloist even sings both parts...wow, what a range! The words stir your soul.

"He shall feed His flock like a shepherd . . . Come unto Him, all ye who labor and are heavy laden, and He shall give you rest..." Set to music, by Handel, these words, sung so beautifully inspire us to love the Savior and appreciate Him and His sacrifice. To me, there is no better music than this. Thanks, Vonnie, for sharing.
