Countdown to Christmas

Day #3
We went to the annual production of Celebration of Christmas at BYU performed by the BYU Singers, Men's Chorus, Concert Choir, Women's Chorus and the BYU Philharmonic. I think there are over 600 voices in the choirs and at least 80 or so musicians playing outstanding music.
This year they performed:
Of the Father's Love Begotten
Wishes and Candles
Fum, Fum, Fumarr
Little Drummer Boy
Angels We Have Heard on High
Candlelight Carol
The Twelve Days of Christmas
Away in a Manger
Rejoice and Be Merry
The Rune of Hospitality (say what??...not a favorite)
Polonaise from Christmas Eve
Sleigh Ride
A Star Shall Rise Up out of Jacob
There is a Star

The whole group sang the first two songs and the last two together. Imagine the rich sound coming from a choir of that size! In a word it was... Amazing. Claire got to attend this year and she really enjoyed being back.

It was a good show, for sure, and we had fun going to it. Well done, BYU chorus groups and orchestra!
