Spring weddings

Our son Dave started the season off right. He and Courtney enjoyed a beautiful wedding on May 3rd in the Salt Lake City Temple. Their wedding dinner was held the night before at the Joseph Smith Building, in the Jade room. Their reception was held at Magnolia Grove, which was a classy reception center in South Jordan, half way between their homes.
The spring flowers at temple square were amazing. They got some remarkable pictures. Their wedding day couldn't have been better and we're so happy for them both. We love you, Dave and Courtney! We're so happy to have such a great new daughter-in-law in our family.
The wedding party included the bride's family, her parents, four sisters and one brother, their spouses and children, and the groom's family consisted of his parents, two sisters, their husbands and children. One missionary brother in Mongolia was sorely missed.
Rick flew up to Portland to attend the wedding of his best friend David later in May. We all met as freshman at BYU and we've been dear friends ever since then. David and new wife Pam were married in the Portland LDS temple and they are currently living in Eugene. I didn't have a wedding picture of them, so I included a picture taken at our home earlier this year. They are so happy and we are thrilled for David to have a new love in his life. One of Dave's best friends was married on June 21st. Josh and Dee were married in the Mt. Timpanogos temple in American Fork. They had their fun wedding dinner at the Pizza Factory with a reception following at the oldest LDS church building in Orem. Josh's parents Roger and Allie are our very good friends and we were honored to be included in all the wedding festivities.

Of course I am partial, but Dave's was the best. Congratulations to the spring newlyweds, too!!
