Wedding day for JRE

The day finally came when our fun-loving nephew married his elegant lady at the Provo City center LDS temple.  JRE has been in our home more hours than I can count.  While he was a student at BYU, he made frequent visits to eat dinner, spend the night, play basketball, watch sports, hang out or all of the above.  He and Andy are just a couple of months apart in age and they became good friends once they hit their teenage years.  Their overlapping years at BYU lead to some very funny adventures.  R is a fun loving guy who is very animated and lively.  He married a beautiful, classy lady named Bronwin and together they will live happily ever after (or so the story goes.)  We are so happy for them both and wish them much happiness.  We all love nephew R.

The groomsmen were all six feet or taller, with the tallest at 6'7".  Quite a tall, handsome group.  The second from the right is my adopted son J.O. who lived with us for six months.  Love that kid! It was so good to see him again.

Andy was one of the best men and he and Chelsea came to town for the wedding day.  He had just had surgery on his leg (with a torn Achilles tendon repair) so he was in a cast and moving about on a scooter.  He was just happy that he could travel from LA and be in attendance at his cousin's wedding. We loved seeing Andy and Chelsea as always. Nice to have a picture with my baby boy.

When Andy and Chelsea got married, cousin R made a toast that included his version of throat singing that was suppose to sound like a bag pipe.  It sounded horrible, but he pulled it off none-the-less.  Andy made a tribute to R. at his wedding lunch and he, along with the other best men, started to do the throat bagpipes.  Unbeknownst to R, Andy had arranged for a REAL bagpiper to come to the luncheon and play a few tunes.  It about brought the house down.  When these two cousins get together, almost anything can happen!  Way to pull it off Andy!
