Our wonderful children threw us a 60th birthday party a few days after Rick's birthday. It was a lot of fun and we loved seeing so many family members and friends. Courtney was in charge of the decorations and she did a bang up job as shown below. Claire created and printed the invites and mailed them out to about 100 people. Jord collected the RSVPs. Andy and Chelsea prepared a slide show and all (including Dave, R, and Jake) helped contribute to the refreshments. Our Moms came and many of our siblings along with some nieces and nephews. Jord and Jake hadn't arrived yet, but we had the rest of our children and their spouses and our eight darling grandchildren in attendance. We loved seeing everyone and thank those who could make it.
It was a party to remember in our advancing years!

This was a terrific party, and I am so grateful to everyone who made it happen. Threescore is not such a bad number, and I'm grateful that we are the same age, even if one of us is slightly older (and probably quite a bit wiser). Love you.
